The workspace
Finding your way around — the module sidebar, working in tabs, the project selector, global search, and your account menu.
Once you’re signed in, the workspace is where all your work happens. It’s organized so the module you need is one click away and the project you’re working in is always clear.
The module sidebar
The left sidebar lists the modules you work in, grouped by purpose:
- Modules — Requirements, Architecture, SBOM, Tests, and Risks: the core engineering artifacts
- Planning — Releases and the Review Center
- Analysis — Traceability and Reports
- Compliance — Compliance and My Training
- Data — Import
The Dashboard sits at the top as your starting view, and the Notification Center keeps you current on activity that involves you. Which modules appear depends on how your project is configured and on your permissions.
Working in tabs
Modules open as tabs across the top of the work area, so you can keep several open at once — a requirement, the trace matrix, and a test plan side by side — and move between them without losing your place. The Dashboard stays pinned; other tabs can be closed when you’re done.
The project selector
Everything you author belongs to a project. The project selector lets you switch the active project; once selected, the modules and records you see are scoped to it. Switching projects changes your whole working context at once.
Global search
Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) anywhere to open global search and jump straight to a record or destination by name, without navigating module by module.
Your account menu
Your account menu gathers personal tools and settings: My Profile, My Locked Items (records you currently hold a lock on), Preferences, a reference of Keyboard Shortcuts, and Sign Out.
