Manage your notifications

An end-to-end walkthrough — triage the Notification Center, filter and clear what you've handled, and tune exactly what reaches your inbox.

TraceUnified tells you when something needs you — a review to vote on, an item assigned, an approval awaiting your signature. This guide keeps that signal useful: staying on top of the Notification Center and setting your email so the right things reach you and the rest don’t. For the concepts, see In-app notifications and Email & preferences.

Triage the Notification Center

Before you start Open the Notification Center from the bell.

  1. Scan your Unread notifications — each links to the item, review, or approval that raised it.
  2. Act on what needs you, then Mark read, or use Mark all once you're caught up.
  3. Filter by Source or read state to focus, and Delete read to clear the ones you've handled.

Result A clean center where what's left is what still needs your attention.

Tune what reaches your inbox

In-app notifications are always there when you look; email is for what you want pushed to you. Set that line deliberately so your inbox stays signal, not noise.

  1. Open your notification preferences.
  2. Choose how email arrives — Immediate for things that can't wait, or a Daily or Weekly digest for everything else — and set the digest's delivery time.
  3. Turn off email for sources you'd rather only see in-app, and use Mute when you need quiet for a period.

Result Email that matches how you actually work — urgent items arrive immediately, routine activity batches into a digest, and noise is off. See Email & preferences.

Tip If approvals or reviews are what you care about most, keep those on Immediate and move everything else to a daily digest — you'll never miss a signature request while keeping your inbox calm.
