Audit logs

Review and export the organization-wide audit trail from one administrative place.

The audit logs admin area is the administrator’s window onto the tamper-evident audit trail that runs through the whole platform. Where every module contributes entries as people work, this is where you review the consolidated record and produce it for an inspection.

Reviewing the trail

You can review audit activity across the organization and filter it to answer a specific question — by action, by user, by date — rather than scrolling an undifferentiated log. This is how you investigate a particular record’s history, confirm who did what in a period, or check activity around a controlled change.

Exporting for inspection

Audit activity can be exported, so the evidence an auditor asks for leaves the system as a defensible artifact. Because the trail is captured automatically as actions happen, the export reflects what genuinely occurred rather than a reconstruction — which is exactly what gives it weight in an inspection.

Tamper-evident by design

The trail is tamper-evident: entries can’t be edited or deleted, so the record can’t be quietly curated before it’s reviewed. That integrity is the whole point — an auditor can rely on the log precisely because no one, including an administrator, can rewrite it. The meaning of the audit trail and what each entry captures is covered in The audit trail; related operational logging is in System logs.
